Nice footage, if you shout from the high lights embankment you get a nice reverb echo in the evening. During the mid to late 80s I realised the traditional north east industries had dissolved, leaving some of my generation wondering what to do?

REALLY? I never knew that and I thank you for letting me know, I'll deffo give it a go next time I'm there which might be in a couple of weeks time. I don't live in the area.

Hiya mate, North Shields is a canny place. I never seen Kylie when I was there, I did see a statue of Stan Laurel in the park though . . . . which was probably more entertaining. I never knew Stan Laurel lived in North Shields as a child until somebody told me when I was there so I went looking for the statue which funny enough is in Laurel Park. 😀
