🌊 This week - Exploring Ningaloo Station: Camping, Drift Snorkeling, and an Abandoned Whaling Station 🐳 Join us as we take you to the stunning Ningaloo Station and explore the hidden gems of North Lefroy, South Lefroy, and Winderabandi.
We set up camp for 4 incredible nights at North Lefroy. This is a great base as it's in between South Lefroy and Winderabandi. We spend one day at South Lefroy where we try the drift snorkeling everyone raves about! We get lost in the dunes as we try to find the abandoned whaling station where we spend over an hour exploring. Rusty remnants are scattered all over the dunes and out to sea! We end up at Winderabandi where we squeeze down the tight, boggy track and then soak in the sheer beauty of the crystal clear, turquoise waters. This place is pure paradise!

Karijini is just gorgeous. We’re looking forward to our 2nd attempt to stay next August after cancelling last year due to Hubby’s leg injury. We camped at Beasley River RA on Fathers Day 2022, but how good did it look in the drone shots! You just can’t appreciate it from the ground, but the bird life was definitely next level. And we will definitely hit up Tom Price Brumbies, as it wasn’t open when we went through last year. Who doesn’t love an apple pastry goodie ❤? Looking forward to next weeks episode 😊😊

Oh, thank you! I leave it curly when we are in warm weather or swimming a lot. It only looks good for one, maybe 2 days - 3 if I spray it with water in the morning then I have to wash it again 🤪 Straight lasts about 5 days.

New to the channel, loving the life......The road you took into Lefroy, you mentioned sand and rocks....we're travelling in a motorhome....is the road passable in a 2wd Moho?

Hmmm - it was pretty full on even for us in our full off road setup. I’d say no. But welcome to the channel!!! We do share lots of content/locations suitable for on road setups - just not much of WA further north. A lot of it is pretty remote and the roads are renowned for being very rough.
