Hey You Tube Friends! I hope you had a chance to watch the eclipse today! It was pretty cool where I live...total darkness...it was pretty stunning and the shadows were amazing! Thank you for joining me today as I take you on a tour of everything blooming in my backyard! I tried to label everything, but have a few misspellings and edits: "Colette" Climbing Rose, Sexy "Rexy" Florabunda Rose...I am sure there will be more. That's why I don't usually add labels...lol! If I didn't label it, just ask me and hopefully, I can identify it! I would love to know what's blooming in your neck of the woods! It amazes me how different gardener's yards are and they are not that far from me! It's so very interesting. Everything looks absolutely gorgeous! You have quite the backyard oasis. I absolutely love the Clematis, Colette Roses, and Japanese Maples!

Smidgen south of Fort Worth, my roses are really looking great, purple irises, purple phlox, ivy geraniums and dianthus, hostas and heucheras up. I planted some double begonia tubers that are emerging. Great time in the garden except for all the weeds in my beds I’m still pulling! Love your garden.

I see you have a Belinda Dream Rose in a pot I just got one and potted it also. Can you give some tips on caring for the rose and what size pot yours are in. Thanks!

Hey there! You will love that rose! Mine has been in the pot for over 7 years now. The pot was not nearly as big as it should have been, but we drill lots of holes or cut out the bottom of the pots to accommodate for the growing roots. It seems to work fine as the roots will extend through the bottom holes, I think you can go with any size pot if you do this! I fertilize with rose tone in the early spring and apply a bloom booster throughout the growing season. If you deadhead, you will get more blooms! Mine is in part sun, but it prefers full sun! Hi.Sherine, Thank you! I got them at.local nursery (Strongs) that closed a few years back! I miss them. They always had a great selection and at great prices!
