Richard Felix, visits North Wales seeking out stories of paranormal activity, supernatural sightings and occurrences.
We visit some of the most haunted places, from the atmospheric Ruthin Castle Hotel haunted by the ghost of a grey lady buried in the grounds after being executed, to the eerie Anglesey pub in Caernarfon where strange things occur.

This is one of the best of all of the Great British Ghost Hunt 2002-2004 @richardfelix! I am at the Blue Lion pub in Cwm as I write. It’s changed a bit since filming, but it’s still lovely! The church seems to have closed in 2010 and is no longer occupied (by the living!).

After having seen nearly all your episodes, I find your theory of "recordings" compelling. I saw a documentary 30 years ago which dealt with a paranormal investigation of a very old building. The building was set to receive some controlled electrical charges while tape recording equipment would catch any sounds, etc. When the tapes were played back it was like hearing the buzz at a cocktail party. Voices could be heard. So there is evidence that stones, in particular, do have some kind of properties which can "record" events. They absorb energies and can be triggered to "replay" under certain conditions.

I remember it was in a very old building, in Wales perhaps, that had once been a courthouse and through the centuries it had become a pub. I remember that it was a stand alone building, not located in the heart of a town, but in a rural area. The building was known to have paranormal activity so this experiment was devised to electrically put a charge into the walls and see what would happen. I am sorry I cannot remember any more specifics. Thank you for your shows@@RichardFelixChannel

A retired Arcitect told me stone holds "echoes" I felt was a lovely way of describing this phenomenum. I was House Keeper of a very old stone mansion at the time and felt much activity like the Night Watchman etc even the house herself would "talk" to me

You missed out on Bodelwyddan Kinmel Park army camp . About the Canandian soliders who said they mutiny bt that was not true as they wanted to go home back to Canada . Also the hut/ barracks where they were shot dead you can still here screams of the men but don't kniw if it is still there as it is a industrial park now . Also across the road at Lowther College there are 3 ghosts as when it was being renovated a painter told me that he was talking to a old woman in a rocking chair where the old kitchen use to be as he thought it was on of the bosses as when he turned round and seen her then she vanished . Also there was another incident where 2 work men had to smash the door down as they could not get into the room as there was a lot of force from them opening it up . But can't remember the third one though . As i am from North Wales and can tell you plenty of haunted places even of a house i use to live in as that appeared on Weird World 3 true Ghost stories mine is the second one that came out in April this year Richard .

Hi Richard being baptised CofE it’s common for us in uk to refer to things as Ghosts, guardian angles and walking to the light! Being married to a Muslim, they have a whole different perspective! Have you ever explored this, in terms of what other cultures believe and common threads? Love what you do and will come to a Derby Ghost tour when I’m better X

The ghosts of Linlithgow Palace let me view the Palace in it's 15th century splendour ,down to the wine cellars ,the queens chamber was beautifully created right down to the four poster bed with carvings of the thistle and roses on the posts complete with purple velvet drapes sewn with the crests of Scotland and France ,the chests were placed between the Windows , two small tables were placed in front of fire places ,a hand crafted wardrobe with images of flowers and the three shelves at the bottom just for shoes and underwear ,the wall coverings were bright and vibrant with the original colours , the chairs were oak with carved vines with bright red cushions and and carved wooden backs and that's not including what I saw in the kings chambers .I had to say thank you to the spirits for letting me see into the past and the ghosts who actually protected me from the ghosts in the dungeon .

25:00 @Richard Felix! You're going to need some lessons in video production. 1) Lighting - don't allow yourself to be in shadow. 2) Background music - never let the music override your narration. Always pull the audio level of the music track down to about 30% of the level of your narration track, or native audio track from your video. I've been editing videos for quite a few years, even before starting a KZbin channel, I'm self-taught, learning from experience.

Of course you heard footsteps behind you. The cameraman follows you everywhere, lol. That is, unless he's waiting for you to come into a room that no one has entered until you come in...which makes no sense what with the cameraman being there already, :P A question: Why do you never carry a good lantern for when you enter these underground chambers? Your camera sucks in low light situations most of the time (The castle dungeon not withstanding as the cameraman did have a light in this instance) and I'd like to see what's down there rather than relying on a camera that shows nothing but blackness. I suppose it's meant to set a mood, but really, we're all aware of how dark it would have been for it's inhabitants back in the day without being subjected to it ourselves.
