A lot of these routes were covered in the Delyn Challenge ride. I absolutely used to love riding the hills around Cilcain before moving to Australia

Cilcain is a good place to start routes in the area and a nice pub for a refreshment to. Hope the trails in Australia are treating you well.

@@clwydianranger9251 Australia is nothing like Wales, we are 20 years behind the UK for trail building, and there’s not much natural trails around

Enjoyed this ride today...👌🏼 Some cracking downhill sections, County Road especially. The gradual climbs are easy going for a perfect XC loop. I didn't see much scenery as the mist was low on the tops. Just going to look at your channel & plot my next one 👍🏼

Do you have a GPX link for this ride? - tried the Clwyd’s back in August and got a bit off track, easy to end up on footpaths, was also on an old rigid fork Rockhopper / definitely an environment for front sus / MTB!

@clwydianranger9251 I have Strava installed, but I was thinking Trailforks was more MTB related. I'll check out Strava. My bike arrives Tuesday and I haven't used a MTB since I was 14 (I used to MTB everywhere!) So I'm going to need to get my fitness up before I take you up on that offer. Once my fitness is up, I will defo need another buddy to MTB with, though 👍

No not running a Grip2 damper. Stock fork that came with the bike. Fox 34 Float Rythm seems okay for me.
