Can you imagine the rage of an alternate here - studied drama from high school and it's their everything to make the second group here. But they're expected to back "this" up. Note that I don't personally disparage North. It's her parents that are at fault here. She is NOT fit for Broadway and should not be present over people that worked for decades to walk the stage. This is sacrilege to people that focus on it for decades.

I heard several state that there were several children there auditioning then Kim walked in with her and they were told to go home. I'm 100% certain Kim PAID to have her in this. No way in Hell she would have auditioned and beat out ANYONE. She also refused to go to rehearsals which is why she isn't doing any of the choreography the rest are doing.

Kim is so transparent! It was EATING HER UP that Blue Ivy received so much attention and celebrity buzz for dancing on stage during Beyonce’s tour (started out slow and with stage fright, but she got progressively better as it went along). She just had to rush out and get North into something…..anything big, regardless if she has the talent and was performance-ready or not. North wasn’t even trying….AT ALL, which is a huge slap in the face to all the other performers on the stage. She was treating it like she was doing another silly Tik Tok video at home, instead of a Broadway (type of) performance. That’s Kim’s fault! Smh 🤦🏽♀️

This is unbelievably bad. I blame the adults though, not the kid. I actually feel bad for her because this video will be on the Internet forever. If this was a school play, it would be cute. But it's not - it's a professional production, so it's unacceptable and embarrassing. People (presumably) paid to see a professional performance, not a celebrity's pet project of their talentless child getting to perform just because they're a celebrity's child.

So they probably can't fully conceptualise the consequences of publicly embarrassing yourself like this in the way that an adult can, because they don't understand how vast the Internet is in the way that adults do and they also can't conceptualise the idea of the rest of their life and how vast "the future" is in the way that an adult can. Also, if a kid's parents lied to them and said "you're an amazing singer, you should be on this show" they'd probably believe it. Many kids struggle to say no to their parents. Doubly so if they perceive their parents to be famous and/or important (I don't think kids can fully conceptualise what being a celebrity entails and the potential consequences of it, but they can conceptualise "this person is famous" in and of itself)

This kid has family all around her, but not one person loved her enough to protect her from embarrassing herself. They threw her on stage with professional performers knowing full well she wasn't on their level. They 100% knew she couldn't sing or dance. Now, North is the one who will have to deal with all of the rude comments and horrible jokes that will follow. She has the world's worst parents. The truth is money can't buy you class, but it can buy a spotlight, whether it's earned or not. Hopefully, going forward at least one person who is in this child's inner circle will tell her the truth to protect her from experiencing further degradation.

Yes, I suppose so. But my 10 yr old daughter was recently in her 1st dance performance. She practiced real hard and when she practiced if she needed work on something, I would tell her and she'd work until she got it. Well, once her performance came, she came out and just blew everyone away! Didn't miss a STEP, was right on beat, it was fantastic!!! This is only because she worked HARD and has talent!
