@@samara_lovesJesus No one is attacking her, no need to say "she’s just a child…". The only people that are being attacked are her parents and the people who casted her. The rest is just objective criticism about her performance. That show business for you, you get on stage and people criticize. It’s almost cruel for the people who casted her to accept Kim’s money, knowing her daughter would never be as talented as the other performers who probably trained their whole life. Sometimes I cringe when I look back at the time I cried during a school play, it was in front of 50 people maximum or when I think about something I regret saying to my mom when I was 12... I can’t imagine how she’ll feel later. Growing up with millions of people seeing all your life, all your worst moment, embarrassing moments, all your mistakes etc…that’s definitely going to mess with her mental health… They should’ve declined the money for the child’s sake in my opinion.

See the big difference between Blu Ivy & North, is that Blu trained & she trained under her mother for months/years. Even when she saw critics about her first performance she came back more confident & comfortable on the stage. (PLUS ITS HER MOTHERS CONCERT) Now, not attacking North because she’s a child. But the problem is people paid a lot of money to go to Disney & watch top notch performances. I’m certain all North had to do was tell her rich & privileged parents she wanted to be apart of this performance and they pulled a few strings to put her in it. This was elementary school performance, and she was up there with trained & experience performers & singers. She sounded like she was screaming more than singing. People didn’t pay to see a privileged child who did horrible. They wanted to see the real thing. It’s best if she just sticks with Kanye & his concerts.

Nepotism comes from the mid to late 15th century Italy. The Borgia pope ordained his son as a cardinal and gave away lucrative positions in the church and was even accused of simony (buying or selling of something spiritual or closely connected with the spiritual, in this case, the title and position as pope) when he was ordained pope. He gave away positions to nephews and all sorts, giving rise to the term “nepotism” (the etymology being “nipote” (or nephew), then “nepotismo” (or the act of giving away a lucrative position because you were the nephew of someone important), which then was translated to French, as “népotisme” and anglicised as “nepotism”). Today, the act of nepotism means to award (mostly unearned or unfairly) positions which are lucrative and somewhat elusive because of family ties or even to award children of your friends or your friends themselves. It happens at all levels, as we’ve noted in this thread, and for this child singing, had she been born to anyone else, would never have had the chance to stand on the stage in the Hollywood Bowl, with her act backed up by professional actors, singers and musicians, who have accompanied some of the best performers of our time, all while denigrating those same people by wearing a ridiculous outfit more suited to a bedroom to keep toasty before bed than a stage in front of an audience paying a ridiculous sum to see world class performers, only to be hit with the singing talent of an average child with no training or talent. It’s not fair. And for her parents to give her a standing ovation and protect her from some of the criticism that every budding singer/actress/musician is subject to, in order to help them improve and drive them to practice and seek out assistance, is ridiculous. It isn’t North’s fault, but the child has an attitude and a certain air of superciliousness that is borne of her mother laughing off her behaviour and her father reinforcing it and acting as an example. I fear for her, she is going to be one mighty, unhappy and screwed up adult if she doesn’t get a reality check and start working for what she has instead of being handed every material thing she wants and everything she wants on a whim, like this performance. I feel for the kids with genuine talent; who are spending mornings and evenings before and after school, weekends and nights practicing to just get a role in a local production, let alone the Hollywood Bowl. 🙄 Life certainly isn’t very fair.

No. Nope. No. A. Her “costume” is ridiculous. B. I feel bad for the talented actors who had to put up with this “choice”. C. I feel bad for the talented children who got passed up after all their hard work to learn to sing and dance just so North can put on this stupid yellow hoodie and sing off key and walk around the stage. D. Im really getting tired of seeing rich kids of celebrities being forced down our throats as entertainers when they are not ready to be. E. Im sick altogether of the Kardashians.

This wasn't North West's fault. It's the adults here. Her parents influenced (or most likely paid) people to hand her the role when she didn't work for it and did not earn it. I will not place any blame on a child because the accountability and responsibility lie with the adults. I'm sure other children worked themselves to their core to try to earn this role, only to have it handed off to someone who had zero experience.

Yall need to grow up and stop worrying about a damn TEN year old. It’s weird. Let her do what she’s gonna do. She didn’t pick her parents. I guarantee she would grow up to be a better person without all of you people criticizing every move she makes from the age of 5. That’s horrible for a child. To not be able to go anywhere without being recognized. Not to have a real childhood. She seems like a decent enough little girl. Let her have fun.

Kim should be in jail for giving out such stupid name's, also north is adorable but her singing is avarage in her age, the true vocal come's out after puberty (and likely she will be a auto tune singer like soooooo many other again).
