I will never understand why they cover the windows of vehicles like that. People need to see out to avoid travel sickness. And … is it just me, or are these things painfully slow?

It's slow because of the many grade crossings in the urban area.

@@traintrak Yeah, in the area around my Mum's tiny tiny village in a sparsely populated part of England, they don't have that. Discussions about rail in North America are often like this. Q: “Why is it so bad?” A: “Because we made it really, really bad.” I don't think I'll ever understand why we get twelve lane elevated highways and single track at-grade railways. The cost/benefit logic is lacking.
