This looks like a really good, lightweight rooftop tent option. A hard shell. One thing I recently learned from a longtime Overlanding friend. Don't put your solar panels on the roof of your tent. Solar panels generate heat. He now uses collapsible, carry solar panels,

Thank you! Yes I think it’s a really good option, it’s light compared to others in its class and it’s quite robust. It’s been beat up by a lot of low hanging small trees and has the strips to prove it. As for the solar panels, there is a good gap for airflow between the panel and the tent, but if it warms up my tent a little, then to me that’s a bonus! Wish it did a better job at it in colder temps though! 😋

Thanks for the review sir! I am an old disabled vet and had to give up my roof top tent because of well, I got old. But, I did like your review. NICE beach! I now have a teardrop trailer that helps me get out and about. Anxiously waiting for more vids.

How thick is the sleeping pad??? Is it comfortable???

Ah good question, that’s definitely something I should have addressed. It’s a 2.75” (7cm) high density foam mattress, plus an anti-condensation mat. Makes a total of 3” of cushion and I find it quite comfortable.
