@@NorthBoundExpeditions I know. Buddy and me end up on an ATV trail in Ontario Canada, the Anson trail rated " Expert " for ATVs. My very first time offroad with a brand new Toyota Tacoma TRD. 40 km trail took us 16 hours to complete. Thankfully two jeeps with winches we met on the most difficult part...... Long story one jeep burned out it clutch and we had to tow it for hours. Lessons learned, get a winch, lots of recovery straps and rock sliders installed.

I agree the cost of new is crazy. I wrapped my new one when I got it in 2021 before taking it on trails. After that, it’s totally fine. After all, if I spend the money, it’s to get enjoyment and memories out of it. It’s a means to an end. A good used one however is absolutely a great option and makes it easier to take it on trails.

OUCH! Fourty years ago I had Land Rover that I would have done that with. Today's Jeeps are SO expensive! For the price of a Recon you'd hope a wrap was included to give some protection. Are limb riser cables that go from the front fender to the leading edge of the roof in the near future? Just very curious, not being critical.
@NorthBoundExpeditions12 күн бұрын
@@richardguse3410 I hear you!!! That would be amazing to have wraps come on these jeeps!! I used to have limb risers. Well I still have them just don’t run them anymore. Some of my older videos (trail from hell for example) you can see how they work.
