Situated in the grounds of a Georgian mansion, Frenchay Hospital started life as a TB hospital called Frenchay Park Sanatorium in 1921.
In 2014 services will move from Frenchay to a new £430 million hospital at Southmead. There are plans to build a new community hospital and nursing care centre at Frenchay.
