As a kid, Northbrook, Randhurst, Woodfield, and Hawthorne were bustling malls.

I’m doing vids on all of those actually! Woodfield is still popping, and Hawthorne is still pretty nice in my opinion. Have to go to randhurst to reassess. And Northbrook was popping in my youth, but it’s only slightly less bleak than Golf Mill now

@@flyonthewall4KThe indoor Randhurst is gone, I believe. When I worked at Allstate in Northbrook, we would go to Golf Mill. Bought a Lava Lite, lol. Shame about it being bleak. Northbrook was a high end mall. I am surprised it is that bad.

Wow! It's been decades since I've been to this mall. When I was last there it was a very high end busy mall

It still looks nice but it’s a ghost town for sure. Glad to be able to show it to you in modern times, even if it’s a little bleaker than it used to be. Cheers and thanks for watching

I grew up in the area, I remember going there back as far as the late 70's... it was high end at one time.

I remember it even being high end still in the early 2000’s, but it’s since taken a dive for sure
