At 4:46, you can see one of the bees doing their "bee dance". It is in the upper right hand corner. They waggle quickly to show the distance and the position of their dance tells the other bees the direction.

New wax is white commonly, by walking on it with polen feet, honey feet, dirty feet, larva excretions, and the natural death of old bees, the comb evolves from BRIGHT white (worth big money to pharmaceutical industry), to yellow common natural bees wax, and eventually turning muddy chocolate Brown in your older brood frames. A side note, making all that wax uses TONS of resources, save the brood frames in the hives for 10 or even as long as 20 years. Dark comb isnt bad, just old. Uncap and extract your super frames, then leave them in the apiary and the bees will lick em clean FOR YOU, and bring the honey back to the hive, no loss that way. Now you have wax comb already drawn for next years flow. When catching your swarms, and other swarms, use old comb. It smells familiar and they will move right in and start laying. Your doing GREAT! Keep it up brother!

Hello I just started seeing your post I am new on this KZbin about two years and going, I saw the topic video of the permit and I totally feel the same way, If we buy land and if I buy utilities from the government then I owe the man money’s, taxes is just a way to get free money from people’s hard earned money, we never got away from the king and queen land taxes or we will take from you mentality, But set aside that and we can move about smartly I really wish I could do what your doing.... Thank you for allowing me to live Nature thru you

Awesome job...Wow! It's amazing..When I was a child we used to purposely try and catch bees. I actually tried to create my own colony lol! I didn't know what I was doing lol! It is awesome how gentle , the respect ,the love ,the care you take and show for the hive..Thank you..I care for many critters including bugs,I will remove a bug instead of kill it.People need to realize how much our pollenater's help us. Bees , Butterflies ,humming birds . I have been including more flowers and bushes to attract them .(Mother nature is good to us ,as long as we take care of all ,give back ,replant ,respect all plants ,trees,creatures ,bugs ,waters..and all the elements).Thank you for the very educating video..Awesome to watch. I hope people see that if they treat everyone and everything with respect there is no need to be afraid..I'm so amazed at how fast the hive ,started to build ,thrive..I'm new to bee farming ,raising breeding .( not sure of the proper term) I'm very interested to learn..Sending posative energy prayers and blessings for a awesome crop ,hive ,colony...blessed be..Lori Miller PGH Pa..

End of the Video, the Bottom Box is always a Brood Box (not a Super !) Supers go above the Bee Nest for Honey Storage, or some add a less deep Box above and call this a Deep and a Half ! : aka a Deep Brood Box + a Mediuim Box (a Super !) Over Supering means adding another Super (Box for Honey Storage) on top of a previous Super etc. eg x4,x5 high. Under Supering is often mentioned in KZbin Videos (incorrectly!) To under Super, you add that empty new Super Box on top of the Brood Box, and add that former full one on top of it ! Get it ? (New is added 'under' not above (over.) To many Beeks think Under Supers go on the Floor (base) and the Brood Box above ! Don't, Never !!! 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 Happy Beekeeping 2022. 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝

@mmb_MeAndMyBees
@mmb_MeAndMyBees 2 жыл бұрын
Nope... feeding Honey back to Bees causes spread of Diseases and Viruses ! (Unless you are very well organised and store equipment well, you can feed Honey from a Hive, back to the SAME Hive. But you need lots of Deep Freezer Space, a Honey Shed, no Mice, Moisture, or Wax Moth, for say a good 7 months or so. So 1:1 Syrup for Wax Building is great in Spring. 2:1 in the Autumn when the part of the Honey is taken for Jarring Up. Feed Syrup only when it's for the BEES only ! It's illegal to Sell (Faux) Sugary* Honey here in the UK. * Bees store that Syrup and dehydrate it down to Cap it, for Winter Feed. Sugar is Sugar, Honey IS Honey. 🐝 Guess you above comment, is because you don't yet know your Bees ! Or Beekeeping. 😖
