Northeast Ohio weather forecast: Colder temps to start weekend

Your 11 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Jan. 31, 2025: The winter-time cold is returning to kickoff the weekend. It will be cold all Saturday but sunny skies will be included. Have the shades ready!
Clouds will increase late in the day. Expect party-to-mostly cloudy conditions through Groundhog Day. A clipper system will track through the upper Great Lakes. Locations along the north coast will be clip with scattered rain chances Sunday and also Monday evening.
Behind these quick rain chances temperatures will fall to the 30s Tuesday. Temperatures will quickly recover in the 40s and 50s late week in advance of another rainmaker arriving Thursday.
