Northern Ballet welcomes Ryoichi Hirano as Guest Artist

Last week we welcomed new Guest Artist Ryoichi Hirano, Principal of The Royal Ballet.
Alongside our amazing dancers in The Great Gatsby, Ryoichi will be performing the role of Gatsby with Saeka Shirai as Daisy at select performances at Leeds Grand Theatre and Sadler's Wells.

Opening night cast was amazing-I hope that Mr. Hirano enjoys his time with David Nixon, choreographer for Great Gatsby-the story is timeless-corruption? But, good dance is 'un-corrupt-able.- Watch 'George' in the tire pas de deux-not about the gimmick…it's about taking movement and accessing that to your artists!
