I just finished watching The Innocence Project on Netflix featuring Franky Carrillo. I’m grateful for the production of this thought provoking documentary. I really had no idea how problematic the court justice system is. We the people need an understanding of the potential problems regarding the prosecution, police work, contaminated eye witnesses, and faulty scientific evidence. My heart goes out to Franky who could easily be my brother. I can’t help but be very angry 😡 with the prosecutor Mary Ann Escalante and the Neo Nazi Sheriff Ditsch. You irresponsible and corrupt people have murdered families with your wrongful convictions. I’d rather be the dead victim than the wrongful convicted prisoner. I understand equal representation; but both sides need to work together and do the right thing. We are dealing with human beings 💔

This seems to happen so often and too often in the USA. They prosectue on evidence that would never be considered to hold up in court in my country. It is prosecutorial misconduct and there must be a huge issue with the competence of public defenders.

I would just like to say, that Frankie wasn't necessarily a sheep. But he was definitely surrounded by wolves. And he stayed true to himself despite the odds. He didn't get involved with gangs, politics, etc. Even though distancing himself from negativity made him a target. But he stayed solid with his head high until his release. It was an honor to have met you, to shake your hand, and enjoy your company on that handball court. My life is better for having met you and thank you for the cletcha and inspiration. Dios Bendiga 🙏
