Glad to find your channel. Also Northern Alberta, former zone 3b now 4a. Doing more with gardening, but had to switch to raised beds, due to mobility changes. Cabbages do not work well for us, but trying new things like Qinoa and Amaranth this year. Clearly the Lord has blessed you! Hope no fires this spring. Blessings... 🙏

I am living here in Vancouver, B.C. & I have a small little garden, the weather is excellent to grow all kinds of vegetables, but, it's no match what so ever to your excellent produce in Northern Alberta, Good luck , most enjoyable video to watch. High thumb up.

Loved the walkthrough of your garden. I garden in Northern Ontario zone 2. I have a few recommendations you might want to try that have done well for me. First, for peas, Mr Big. Very productive and huge sweet peas. I’ve also managed to get a few watermelons, the earliest being Blacktail Mountain. If you like pole beans, I also recommend flat podded ones, like Merchant of Venice. Much more tender. As for tomatoes…that list is too long for this comment section. 😂 Hoping you’ll enjoy a great growing season this coming summer.

Next year I am starting my first in the ground garden. I have been growing in pots on the porch for several years but that has be tomatoes and peppers and a few herbs. Next year I will be planting near the barn where we used to have animals but the cows and horses have been gone for several years now so it is the most fertile place on the property. I live on the southwest part of Missouri in the ozarks. I have so enjoyed binging on your videos.

Your cabbage is my favorite part of your tour! So beautiful! Your soil looks so soft! We are in SW Missouri. I planted pickling cucumbers in late July/early August. Now producing lots of pickles to can! 🤤

Your garden is beautiful, I live in Okeechobee, FL. A lot of these things won't grow down here until about November to March, like Brassica's, it just gets way to hot. And the pest will eat your garden up in the summer months like April to October. I have good luck with Broccoli(early green, sun king), cauliflower (snowball, snow crown), and cabbage in winter. Kohlrabi, is one I would like to try growing here this winter, thanks for sharing, its nice to see how you folks live up there, may God bless ya.

It has been so wet where I am that my tomatoes are almost a month behind. Great garlic and carrots though, and the best onions I have ever grown! My new garden where the corn is licking in nutrient, and they only got to half their intended height, and are a sad pale yellow. to give you an idea of how wet it is here in Massachusetts, most farmers are struggling to get second cut in because we can only cut hay for about 1 day every 2 weeks. Second cutting should have been in by the beginning of August. We went on a 10 day vacation, and it rained at least 8 out of 10 days while we were gone.
