He needs to continue to start. If he can learn to evade tackles he is gonna be able to make huge plays. Dude is huge for a QB. He can take some hits.

his biggest issue is needing to learn when to slide he can't try to truck all the defenders. Playing in the big 10 will get him hurt in under 3 games.

Move Sims to receiver and running back. H-Back. I think he can still be very dangerous. But Haarburg could be a 1000 yard rusher at quarterback. He has that sort of potential. They may need to move Sims if Irvin has a Hip-pointer. It looked that way to me. I think Gabe was headed for a 100 yard game before the injury. Both he and Grant looked impressive. Just a hair away from busting lose on some big runs for scores.

Haarberg is a specimen. 6'4 and nearly 240 pounds. Maybe the Biggest Quarterback in Husker history. His potential is off the charts. Great runner and he has a strong arm. Looked like the classic Nebraska running quarterback. Irvin is coming on at Running Back. Kind of a late bloomer. Has a chance to be a real force. However, he came off the field with what looked to me like a hip-pointer. Hope he will be OK. Anthony Grant is an electrifying runner when he hangs onto the ball. Good receiver too. This looks like the best defense Nebraska has had since Carl Pelini was coordinator. I'm encouraged by their rapid progress. The offense is starting to find some rhythm. Offensive Line played really well in the second half. Hated giving up the touchdown at the end. That would not have happened except for a penalty of third down that kept Northen Illinois drive alive. Don't know much about Louisiana Tech next week.

Haarberg is our guy. Offensive line still needs work! Didn't see much of anything from them until late in the game when NIU was gassed. Defense played awesome, not surprised!! But if we expect to win any big games this year the o line needs to move guys around, let's not forget this game was against Northern Illinois!
