I don't get why people say this sucks, the original is great and this is fucking amazing too ! It's a different style altogether so trying to compare it to the original isn't a good way to define whether it's good or not. Say this was the original version, would you think it sucks ? I love when people talk about the "essence", something that's capable to define only by the artist itself in the very moment of the writing process, then the essence is gone forever. It's like when people say that "I don't like the path the band is taking right now, they've lost the essence", oh, can you define that? Where you in the reharsals, in the composing, in the writing process? No, all the people that say that kind of things, they're just assuming that the essence is that particular aspect they actually like. Pure personal musical taste prettending to be objective.

Why complain about the song? Its a bombastic hair metal version of a famous song. Its cheesy but competent and you can take it or leave it. And the naked girl adds abit of decadence to it.

Jokke Haha that's not totally true. A cover is someone's own impersonation of the song. The beauty of this version, is that it's totally different, and still it's the same song. If you cover something, it should be unique in its own way, otherwise you might aswell put on the original.

It's a horrible video, but I thoroughly enjoyed the song. Then again, I am unfamiliar with the original version. I never did like Seal's music so I never bothered with this song before. I enjoy the four part harmony, each fella has a unique vocal range and voice. He brings his own style and you can pick out each one and still hear them as a cohesive unit. That's actually really hard to do. They're all great musicians, whether you enjoy the song or not. Your enjoyment is personal opinion and has no bearing on how good the band is as a whole or broken up as the individual musicians. I loved their version of the song, I like the band, but please, don't knock the musicians because you don't like their versions of the covers they do. Go ahead and dislike the music, you have every right, but don't state their a horrible band, because they aren't. They just aren't your cup of tea.

Ian Sohr To argue or even discuss which is better between this version and the original is as futile as to start an argument over whether the Damone cover of Wasted years is better or worse than the Iron Maiden version or whether the Beseech cover of Gimme gimme gimme is as good as the Abba version. I'm a fan of Charon and Sonata Arctica, Seal I thought was okay but I wouldn't choose to play his music. I'm guessing you would probably be inclined more towards the opposite, different genres, different tastes.
