Northern lights & Piper

so much happens in a short few days, so as usual here is a few clips of our life.
any one else catch those northern lights??? Candice was up in williamslake and watched the spectacular show, it was truly magical.
Jordan has been taking Piper out on the field while he moves pipes or checks the other horses, she is becomingmore social each day
Silvers baby is slowly getting stronger...and we look forward to turning them out on the field

The northern lights were stunning here in southwest Scotland. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen them outside other people’s photographers or on a screen. I was utterly blown away. Piper is doing so well, amazing to see her with Jordan

Silver’s foal’s eye shadow gets me every time! Makes me think she got into mommy’s makeup! She’s so beautiful! I’m always impressed with Jordan’s gentleness and how in tune he is with each horse. Piper will soon realize she is loved.

Beautiful look at the northern lights. Don't worry about putting human emotions to her. Dumb scientists say we inherited everything else from animals, and emotions were the only thing that is ours alone? Oh, please! No way we're that special. I think they just want to believe that animals have no feelings, so they don't have to consider they might be suffering as lab animals. Love finding your channel again, been missing your videos.

I wonder if Silver was a wild horse if her baby would have been one left behind if the herd had to suddenly bolt. If anyone needs a baby friendly horse it's you! Freckles is definitely special and can teach the feral babies a ton on herd life esp when some of the mates have babies of their own to watch. I'm sure he will help them adjust, with how stand offish that baby is she really needs it, needs to learn to be a horse and be sociable....although I'm sure a portion of it is just being a little brat! I find her odd stubborn little personality adorable while she's little.

Interesting situation on the trees. NW Missouri here and my fruit trees are doing the same thing. Our Ash have been decimated by some bug, other mature trees are dying off and my maple lost one whole limb.

I love watching Jordan with the horses,I came across you on U tube you had just found Piper. I'm wondering where you are located,sense you have wild horses nearby and close to main road. But love watching the training of horses. I use to have a horse years ago,lost job so sold her. I think if I had to do it again I would get a gelding cause females have there monthly cycles and harder to control. But I'm not a real good rider. Love horses one of God's most beautiful animals. Piper's coming along, but she still seems so thin. Or is this still in the first few days she was with you? The orphans seem to fill out quicker than this, but of course I don't know the actual timeline, and maybe the older they are when you get them the harder it is to get them to chunk up. Sometimes happens when the mare has her foal heat, and I think the timing is about right.
