So glad you were able to see the Northern Lights! They were forecast in the upper U.S. two nights in a row due to a bad solar storm. Wind and cliffs scare me - I'm very heavy but I was almost blown over the edge of the rim trail at Brice Canyon. Best to stay several feet away because you never know when a strong gust will hit you.

You got some red color at night...red is VERY RARE! Usually, it's green. I saw the northern lights wayyy back in October '84 in Vermont, but it was a 1/3 moon that didn't help. So glad you got to see them. My bucket list is to camp as high as possible and check out a summer time meteor shower, but coming up real soon: the Leonid Meteor shower and a lunar eclipse! You're in for a treat! I'm also thinking of getting a telescope maybe...but in an RV, space is premium! As always, thanks for all the tips and the great videos!

We live not far from there in MT. Can highly recommend Medicine Rocks State Park on Hwy 12 North of Ekalaka and South of Baker. Small state campground. Dry camping and there is water at the entrance, vault toilets and amazing rock formations.

Wow what a treasure find! And a quick look of the area and there are a lot of other Parks as well I really enjoyed your presentation and experiencing life with you for a day. And I don't know if that would be a simple meal according to my definition but it sure looked good and Hardy! And you look very comfortable in your van!I am looking forward to more advantures with you three!
