Sharing our lovely vacation to Saariselkä, Finland in the 3rd week of November and blessed to see the Aurora Borealis. Stayed in the Arctic Circle at Northern Lights Village in their Aurora cabin with a laser-heated glass-roof and did their Full Board “Best of Lapland in 6-Action Packed Days - 5-Night Package.” They provided thermal clothing including overalls, boots & mittens. We brought our own thermal base layers. Enjoyed the following adventures: Aurora Expedition on Snowshoes, Cross-country Skiing Lessons for Beginners, Aurora Camp by the Lake, Searching for Santa, Reindeer Express, Aurora Camp on the Border, Shared Snowmobile, Day Trip to Nellim, Aurora Hunting by Heated Sleigh, Husky Safari, Individual Snowmobile. Made new friends from around the world (Brian, Michelle, Kevin, Laura, Rafael and Julia). Staff: Katie, Pedro, Chef Andrew, Matan, Laura, Helle, Mia, Marcello, Maxime, and many more! Highly recommend Northern Lights Village as it was such a winter wonderland experience!
