Are you using pan covers? You might be getting dirt under your pans. Making them harder to set off. In a couple of the sets that you set off I didn’t see any sign of a pan cover. That might help you catch a few more coyotes.

I find when u skin u can put Aaron in the cavity and it pops the fur loose from the from the meat and it does the same thing as you're skinning it but it's a lot quicker

Pre baiting making and type of set digging a hole backing placing an anchor in the ground is illegal in maine before trapping season open .
@trappingtoday Жыл бұрын
Not true. It is illegal to fasten a trap. It is illegal to do advance Prep for beaver. Otherwise preseason Prep is perfectly legal.

@@trappingtoday it's actually very clear under advanced preparation no installation or placement of trapping implements associated materials or supplies. I called for my own verification a few months ago

Trapping implements means stakes marten boxes ect associated materials or supplies means bait witch means no pre baiting
@trappingtoday Жыл бұрын
@patricklibby5457 the implement portion of the rule applies to beaver and muskrat only. Remember when you call often the person on the other line knows less about the rules than you do. When in doubt check with MTA president.
