Woo! This helped me a lot :0 Answered most of my questioned :) I am very happy about that. Just 2 questions I would like to confirm :) Do I *have* to be from or living in Northern Ontario to be accepted in Nosm? I am asian-canadian (my parents are from china and I am from canada). Will I get a change to be accepted?

I am glad to hear you find this helpful! You do not have to be from Ontario, but you must be able to demonstrate in your application how you relate to that area, i.e., rural areas, northern areas, Francophone areas, etc. In your application explain why you want to learn, work, and help in that environment. Your racial or ethnic background should not have an influence on your acceptance chances. As long as you can articulate why you would be a great fit for NOSM specifically, you have as good a chance as any applicant :)

Just asking, I am a white science guy.. 92 % UOf T… I am not a minority, I am non diverse.. I am a simple Canadian … just asking … what are you looking for to unroll. My friend who is very diversified was given money and an in because of skin colour.. he was shocked that I are still trying.

Hello Freddy. Thank you for your question. Firstly, diversity takes many forms. You might be ignoring an experience in your life that can be used to make you stand out from the crowd. For example, it can be a volunteering or work experience, involvement in sports, art or music, your background and family, and so on. Think of the experiences and skills that make you stand out and try to emphasize them in your application.
