His daughter came to our youth club in Peterborough around 76-77, then 16 or 17 like us. A few of us played Northern Soul records in the backroom there so I pulled out A Little Piece of Leather (Gateway+Sue) as a tribute to her Pops. Donnie was also the writer of Open The Door To Your Heart by Darrell Banks, one of the greatest Soul records ever made. Respect.
