Third time watching this! It doesn’t get old. After being out on St Clair yesterday, with a lot of the fish on beds, easy picking. It’s how the anglers adjust in the coming weeks that separates a good day to a great day. We caught them yesterday on tubes of course. But early in the morning we hammered them on lipless, jerk, crank, and swim jigs. Most of the people are sticking to just the Ned, drop, or tubes. Great stuff again Chris 🙏🏻

Zaldangerous gathered for them bass’s Using lithiums to be the fastest His fairy wand plots destruction Sorcerer of small mouth destruction On the lakes the Skeeters running As the yammy keeps on turning Hes a danger to fishkind Catching their gobywashed minds... Oh Lord yeah! smallmouth hide themselves away They bite to go to war Why should they go out to fight? Only for weigh in to come Live will show their power minds As they show themselves just for fun Treating people just like craws in nests Wait 'till their weighin day comes, yeah! Now in darkness, world stops turning Battleborn keeps the reels turning Now the birds have all day power Hand of chris has jacked their jaws Day of Judgment, Chris is calling On the bottom santone jig crawling Begging mercy with their fins Small mouth jumping, spreads his wings... What an amazing fishery they have become indeed! An AWESOME video and I really love the underwater shots. What acrobatics they exhibit!! But you are so right, your equipment must be on target and ready to take on everything that the lakes are about to punish you with. Wind, waves, and anything else that can ruin a day if you aren't prepared for it. And batteries are a huge part of it. They have to able to stand the pounding and run all the equipment without a hiccup. Keep explaining it Chris!! And keep the videos coming.

The part of this video that really stuck with me is talking about them gobies. I’m a southern boy from Charleston South Carolina so I’m normally fishing for speckled trout, red drum, largemouth bass, or crappie. We take a trip once a year to the Shenandoah river in Virginia to fish and just get away. My first float down the river with my fiancés uncle in an old aluminum john was the time of my life. Not just because the rapids in an aluminum boat lol but because I was just in awe from how clear the water was and how savage these smallies are. Casting in rapids before and after them both producing fish. Casting in heavy current and feeling your Ned rig thunk on the rocks below and then it’s on after that. Absolutely love the video and great job in the redfish tourney ! Best and most informative video on smallies I’ve seen yet. Great job man

Awesome video 👏🏻. I am pretty fortunate to live so close to St Clair, and I try to get out more each year. I agree, the bait selection has expanded, but dragging tubes and drop shot is hard to escape, early season. Having the right equipment is imperative! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve lost power to my electronics up front. Better equipment seems like a solution. Battling waves and wind chews up a lot of battery power. I'm missing St Clair right now. Hope she ends up back on our schedule in 2023. May have to come visit this year during one of our breaks!

You hit the nail on the head when it comes to northern smallmouth! Not a better fighting fish especially when you pair it up with 4lb/6lb fluoro. I always carry multiple "goby inspired colors" since they change from light to dark throughout the year. Love dragging swimbaits across the bottom!

Dude you are the most versatile angler out there. I absolutely love how you always fish your strengths and swing for the fences. I love how you can teach by just having a conversation with the anglers while you fish! It is just you and your natural talent man! Hope to see you soon!

An epic showdown between one badass fish and angler… those shots made me want to chase after some brown footballs here in Maryland on the Susquehanna River! Amazing footage and great video overall, Kudos to the zaldangerous team!!!
