I remember those days of getting wood in the snow. Nothing warms ya up quicker than doing that. I usually split mine before bringing it home. We used a lot of red oak, some locust rarely maple. I liked looking for pitch, I really had an eye for it and it didn't take much to do the season. Beats using Kerosene to start the fires and it even works when wet. If your machine was about 60 decibels quieter, you might see some animals before scaring them all away lol.

Nice job, fokes really underestimate this dry air of the north, -20C I am out in the bush and it's enjoyable I can't even wear a coat just a sweater under my Bib overalls and a hat. Cutting wood or even just driving the tractor it's too hot even at -20. For a coat.

Some nice firewood guy's ! The old alpine track packer is still running nice :) Love my solar I would never go back to grid ! Cecil's always welding & things like that so I understand why you went to the grid it just makes seance for your needs :) Yes the dark months i have to run a genny a little but i still use everything i need at my cabin :) Stay warm enjoy your snow"

Glad you are feeling better I am 83 years old and got Covid again this season had it for about three weeks and it’s getting better this is the fifth time for me withcovid two of them were sever but got thru them by the way no vax for me I have never even had a flu shotofanykind I am also on blood pressure meds and halve had a heart attack and four strokes over the past twenty years so what keeps me alive? god does
