I used to drive from our depot in Dublin to our depot in Antrim along the old Belfast Road, past the old Carrolls cig factory. This was 19886/87 when the troubles were still happening but not so much. When I had meetings with clients in Belfast, (cross border transport) the secretaries had booked me into the Europa Hotel, which a brief glimpse was on this vlog. I soon found out that it was the most bombed building in Belfast ! Northern Ireland is a delight to visit and if you do visit, then get to Belfast and enjoy the history and most of all ..... the people. Slan.

I was there when the war was raging, doing a job at a Newspaper Printing Works. It sounds stupid to say, but I enjoyed every moment of it. The people were absolutely lovely, and so welcoming. I saw the Titanic yard as I was driven from the Airport to the Factory. I would love to go back there today, and probably will. Yes, everything you say about it I agree with. Charming city, forget the darker past, live for today!! It is amazing how they are actually trading on the darker days history, I am not sure about that....But, it makes them money and gives everybody a better life and peace too. Glad you enjoyed it. - John

Know loads Donegal direction as well. You also haven't seen Strangford Lough area or Newcastle area with Mourne mountains. Lots more to see here 😁

Chiccos little tongue and his gorgeous shirt made me smile. I'm still simmering in Bulgaria and loving it and yet you two are such a treat as my bites are itching! It's been around the thirties here! I recommend Sunny Beach! The sea has been clear and warm for swimming. I've seen a couple of little Chicco size dogs here, but there is only one Chicco.
