@@guinea_horn Because it combos really well with Wrath stance. 20 damage and 20 block, after which you can switch out of that stance.

@@guinea_horn Higher base numbers on upgrade, 13 vs 12 and double scales from strength. Not to mention the synergy with the forms. Though I do admit I did kinda forget about the unblocked damage thing. Still a great card though.

Wallop can be so good defensively, with Wrath damage and switching out, or 30/39 block in Divinity. I can't believe he can't conceive of how this works, and he doesn't want to try it.

Yeah man. Some of the beta art is top tier. Sadly, SO MANY better submissions have come in, since they've started putting them in. Tantrum in particular has some amazing beta art on the Reddit that just will never see the light of day.

The "bad dash" point seemed terrible, cause it's dash that scales with wrath, but it is a fair point that you also take more damage during wrath. Although it's probably worth taking if you can enable regular stance changes or divinity. May just be a card you should pass on until your deck has formed slightly.

With the new changes to halt (particularly halt+) wallop is _probably_ the best uncommon in the watcher's deck.... assuming of course, you have halt+. It's absolutely top three.

@@tivalec I mean, his record kinda disagrees with you, especially when you consider that it's low ascensions and he's playing the most OP builds of the most OO character (excepting possibly the current wallop and halt+ meta). 4-19(+) is _really_ bad.

NL Wallop is insanely good. It gives you the block you need to potentially stay in that stance. Outside of using it with Wrath stance it works with pen nib, strength raise, divine stance (has no downfall there), and VULNERABILITY (that status is stupid good with her)

Not hitting the Guardian because he has 3 thorns even though you gain 3 armour for hitting him anyway tilted me. Just waste that damage for no reason till he figured it out xD

That's why you always check your boss. If he knew he was fighting the guardian _at neow_ instead of floor 13, he would have been AIMING for TTTH, and rejoiced when he picked it up.

It's a LOT better than "pretty decent" especially after the halt changes. Those two cards alone can win runs up to like, A8-10 or so. Higher if you play around them.

@@mongmanmarkyt2897 that's not likely to work, but it's probably not impossible either. It's much more of a "defending for 38 damage" in wrath kinda thing. = ) You're hard pressed to take damage, and grabbing a few other cards (like brilliance, stance enablers, deva form etc...) will make you unlikely to leave floor fights hurt, and probably most act 1-2 elite fights as well. The two cards are so incredibly easy to play around; Halt is super easy to grab two+ copies of, scry is a thing, retain and establishment have a LOT of combo cards that pair very well with entering wrath on a specific turn keeping calm at other times.... The watcher is in a pretty solid place on the current patch, and I hope they don't make too many changes to the current patch.

Yeah, if he had done the crush joints/sash whip in the opposite order to give weakness instead of vuln the turn he purged the artifacts be could have saved HP. He also should have used Brilliance the turn he got it back instead of hitting. As well, he probably chose to erupt on a bad turn later. Seemed like a difficult fight, but maybe winnable.

Dude, if you take Bowling Bash you have to play it for value. If you have Talk to the Hand on the main dude, and you can get enough block to not take damage from minions, then you should definitely Bowling Bash the main dude.

Waiting for Northernlion to realize that Eruption upgrade makes it cost 1 instead of giving it damage. Seeming him gun for Vigilance every time and then suffer from energy woes whenever he goes into Wrath is just painful.

@@jpryan90 that's always been his issue, and it's why he struggled SO hard with everyone but the Ironclad. He evaluates cards in a vacuum, he only thinks about if they're good cards, not if it's better to take them or skip them.

@@Math.Bandit yeah, I dunno what event he planned on getting that would compensate for two+ elites on the second act. He barely best the gremlin leader halfway through. He's terrified of actually fighting with the single most OP character released to date, running the most OP builds (possibly excepting current halt+ and new wallop). He's consistently losing because he cowers in fear when he should be pressing for advantages. Dodging elites with slaver's is akin to just skipping the first floor relic altogether. If your build isn't strong enough to smash hallway fights without extra energy, smash the elites with he energy you DO have. He's gotta stop trying to focus on wrath + vuln combos too. Yeah, it's great when it works, bit then you take sixty damage to a floor enemy with artifacts. Taking damage because he didn't bother to add two double digits numbers for lethal doesn't help either.
