Malf's playing through Hitman was like a guy walking straight across a highway without stopping somehow avoiding every car as he goes. It was impressive to see so much go right so consistently.

I coincidentally started doing the slay the spire dailies again right around when this guldan goblet started, so it's been really cool seeing how differently you handle things from how I have. I'm actual garbage at the game, so there's a lot of interest for me here

NL is definitely not the guy to learn from. I only watched up till the first boss at the writing of this comment but he already demonstrated his lack of understanding of the game. He is treating Skewer as a strength scaling card which it is most definitely not. He is mistaking it for a multi-hit attack when it is multiple attacks put into 1 card. For example, an upgraded Sword Boomerang attacks 4 times for 1 energy so it essentially gets 4 times the strength however Skewer attacks once per energy, basically making it a card that contains multiple strikes, well, very slightly upgraded strikes. Skewer has synergies with relics like Pen Nib and Akabeko because while they can only effect 1 card, through the use of Skewer it's like they end up effecting multiple ones. The other thing is that Machine Learning is a bad card. It's way too slow. It starts off as a -1 draw since you gotta draw it when you could have drawn something actually useful. Then the next turn it becomes a +0 and the turn after a +1. So the card needs 3 whole turns to give you a tangible benefit which is a measly +1 draw. It's ok for boss fights and can be made less bad with the right relic and card combinations but vanilla Machine Learning is mostly just a bad card. If you wanna learn from somebody I'd say check out Jorbs. Not nearly as entertaining as NL but very knowledgeable about the game and a pretty chill guy.

They’re all unfamiliar with it except for ryan who doesn’t really like it. Plus dailies require playing fast, so the videos will be very short. So I don’t think it will be a guldan goblet game.

End of second floor, NL takes his sixth energy (the worst energy relic) over removing two curses from his deck after complaining about curses all run. He then can never spend his energy cause his deck is filled with shit and his consistency is ruined because he dosn't know when to block.
