Target in America is good cause of their selection of items and lowish prices, whereas in Canada the shelves were kind of empty, had the same shit Walmart had and was expensive. They lost billions, and to this day there are random red concrete balls in random strip malls all around Canada; a true testament to their hubris :)

The same sort of thing happened to Walmart when they tried to open a store in Germany. They hated the entire concept of Walmart. I lived there for over 4 years and I always loved that they didn't have big box stores the same way we do.

Target had major problem keeping the shelves stocked in Canada for some reason. You went there and a lot of shelves were just empty. Their logistics were crap, go figure why since they seem to be pretty much OK in the States.

To my understanding the main reason that Target didn't work up here in Canada was because the main interest for it coming here was that a lot of Canadian would cross the border to shop at Target to get cheaper prices on things than you could get at like a Walmart or Zellers up here, but when Target opened up here the prices were on par or higher than at Walmart for equal or lower quality of items (in my experience) so people didn't really go much. This is like a solid 60% anecdotal on my end though so take it with a grain of salt but that's how I see it.

Because he played as the lost which can take 1 item from the devil deal for free. Devil deal also offers more offensive power which helps the lost survive better than angel items, that just either give hp or defensive items. Which are not gonna help much long term. Devil deals also appear more than angel deals and have a chance to offer nine lives which is really good on the lost.

recently ive started eden streaking as i wait for the update and it has definitely taught me to respect devil deals. while angel deals tend to have good items, they show up much less often (and much later) compared to devil deals, plus eddie rooms arent always safe to play for the higher chances. the devil pool IS diluted but since its easier to get devil rooms its more likely to get a good devil item early on that carries you compared to an angel deal that shows up in depths 1
