When I worked in retail, I saw a small boy (10yo at the most) pleading with his parents to buy him the newest Hitman game. It didn't help that the cover was emblazed with both a blood soaked garrotting wire and the restrictive age rating. They looked at the game, then at each other. Scooped the game out of his hands so fast, replacing it on the display, the kid barely noticed. On the way out, the Dad did glance over it again, out of sight of his son and wife.

Hey nl if you never had glasses with blue light filter they might take some time to get use to. I got some recently and they added a yellow/orange tint to everything. I couldn't get use to them and had to switch them out.

You really do be a boomer sometimes Ryan lmao, that ain't it with the 'you'll look at the next generation and say they're doing things wrong' take. I look at Gen Z and other than the minority of them who are just repeating what their weirdo conservative dads told them to, they're doing some great stuff. Same age as you. Zoomers definitely had it more together than I did at their age. Also, y'know, you gotta remember that you lucked out ultra hard with your job. I know you already know this but I think sometimes you don't factor it into how other aspects of your life are going. Like 99% of millennials I know are renting with other millennials or with zoomers. You've kinda done that honorary-gen-X thing the same way Gen X'ers did with boomers, which like, I'm happy for you, but you're in a minority there. I guarantee half or more of the people making really far left takes that you see are millennials, I think sometimes you assume they're all zoomers who'll grow out of it.
