There seem to be things NorthernLion has picked up on here, and other things he's missed entirely. I'm guessing that he has found out from prior experience that if you let Dark Bum eat hearts in a room like that, it'll only drop red hearts (then eat them again). But I guess he isn't aware that after Dark Bum has eaten his fill, you can exit the room before he starts paying out and then he'll give you spirit hearts as normal.

He is perfectly aware, I've seen him do that multiple times. I assume he just forgot about dark bum.

NL, it is a horror film, but it is primarily a coming of age film. It isn't that scary, and the main focus is about kids overcoming their fears. So while it wouldn't be weird to go see a horror film on your own, it might be weird to see a coming-of-age on your own. Nonetheless, it was a good film, so I recommend watching it anyway

See, everyone is commenting about the Dark Bum/red heart thing, but I can tell you from my own experience that when Dark Bum takes red hearts from a secret Womb room, he only gives you more red hearts. I don't know if this is a glitch or something, but it annoyed the hell out of me and I kept checking and checking and that's what kept happening. So his decision honestly didn't change anything.

Serenity Havenya You have to leave the room after he picks up the hearts. The type of secret room determines the type of hearts on the floor. For example a second secret room with a black heart will always have black hearts, so you could use a lover's card in there and get 2 black hearts instead of the normal red hearts.
