NL, when you gamble if you win the item, when you go to spin again he'll get another item in stock. So you could just chain wins and possibly get stuff like a jetpack that way. I remember seeing Foxman do that once.

He constantly streams as well as uploads the daily challenges, which is a key part of the PC port. With that in mind, whether he played on Xbox or PC, he's promoting both by playing Spelunky, the usage of the controller is hardly a factor.

Correct although the little basted doesn't follow you around, you have to carry him, if you drop him he jumps around.

He's aware why ghosting is a thing, he just doesn't do it because he's afraid of the insta-death. He doesn't think -free fucking shotgun- because you lose the shotgun on ice caves.

I found out, after extensive testing (30 games of dying in the caves) that if you are grabbing a ledge, your ability to harm enemies is turned off. Same w/ climbing gloves. Note: they can still hurt you.

I think he landed on the platform at the top of the ladder before the bat rose above it, so he didn't jump on it and it just popped up and hit him/.

It happens! Just play slow, and take your time killing enemies so you don't take silly damage. Spelunky is one of those games where back seat gamers will constantly think the guy who's playing sucks, because they don't realize how easy it is to make a mistake for a fraction of a second and suddenly just die.

Hey NL, greetings from Russia) on 2:35 try not to run in situations like that, cause you end up overshooting and bumping into wall like 10 times in a row. its mush easier when not running. though if there is no wall on the opposite side, both ways work fine. love your channel and stuff, keep up)

The thing about beating Hell in Daily Challenges, particularly for you, NL..is you spend 50k, then make 100k. Net gain of 50k equivalent to beating olmec. But you do get rubies but you also spend extra money on bomb boxes to make sure you get to hell. And you dont get much gold from pre-Yama Hell levels. But soooo old of a video x__x not too old but quite old. Ramble.

I'm hate to this, but I don't think that you've gotten much "better" strategically or mechanically. What is at work here is there law of large numbers. Play the game enough times, and you'll beat it every once in a while, sometimes even a few times in a row. But you still make the same imprudent decisions, still refuse to try anything except steamroll Yama with little gold, still don't know some of the game's quirks and elements, etc. Then again, you are THE Northernlion, so it's in your nature
