@@charlesblasini2134 I ran through the numbers and yes, with high card he gets there by a small margin. If he plays three cards with half joker he makes it for sure with a minimum score of 20,164 per hand (assuming he plays the 2 from his starting hand initially, which he always should) without even including chips from the cards he plays. If he plays 5 cards, he needs to score an average of 282 chips per hand which would be 19 more than he gets from jokers and the base hand score, so four cards with an average value of at least 5.

The first run was very frustrating. Especially when he would not discard 5 cards every time, would sometimes discard face cards for no reason, and would hang onto flushes even though a single card would be enough to win. Gosh.

The thing is you should either go all chips, which is easy to beat ante 8 or you should go +mult xmult scale which has great endless potential. The normal chips mult combo doesn't really work here. I hate to be a type a but personally my best runs have been on plasma so it kinda saddens me that he doesn't get to utilize its full potential

It's better early due to just higher raw numbers, but that fades pretty quick and they don't see that they need to pivot.

I hate wasting food but if you dont have any leftover food after the party it usually means your guests left hungry. Ideally there should be just enough food left for your tommorow lunch or you can always try to give some of the leftover food to your guests so it wont go to waste.

Have you played the game? Chip jokers tend to give a much more significant numerical increase than mult jokers. When chips+mult are averaged, it’s far easier to get +100 chips (50x50) than it is to get +100 mult (also 50x50).

I disagree fundamentally with the idea that getting chips is good for plasma deck. Yes early game you will see some impressive points, and particularly on higher stakes if that is the build the game presents you with than go for it to survive, BUT, the upper limit you can reach with the total number of chips you can have is SO much less than the upper limit of how much mult you can get with good mult mult, SO since the strength of the plasma deck is in normalizing the points when you have a lot of one of the two and not a lot of the other, the best potential for the plasma deck ability to actually score you the most points is BY FAR the best for builds that create a very large amount of mult, in which case even if you had like four stuntmen or something the benefit from high chips would be unbelievably close to zero

THANK YOU! I don’t know who told him to chip-max on plasma deck. Chips actually matter the least on plasma out of any other deck. Chip increases can only be additive. Mult can be increased multiplicatively AND exponentially. One mult is equal to one chip, so you have to ask which is easier to increase and the answer is mult

I think the whole 'chips are better' idea comes from the fact that early in the deck it is much easier to reach high numbers of chips over mult, and that you only see significant returns on mult by ante 4/5 on an average run when you've procured a joker that mults mult.

Everyone has always said chips are king on plasma deck so I tried it and I always die on ante 6. I thought I was just bad with the plasma deck. Recently I've been maximizing mult and had much more success on high stakes

I think you've all lost it, I beat every stake of Plasma by chip maxing and even gold stake only took 2 tries. You only need to pivot to mult for endless, for beating ante 8 chips is actual baby easy mode, easiest deck for sure. Did you guys not see that he had the win handed to him with wee joker + brainstorm but just played it wrong every step of the way? At 11:37 he thinks he needs big hands like flushes but 5 high cards would have won, literally any card.

Just played that seed he lost, once you have wee joker brainstorm pareidolia reserved parking it's a wrap. Copy parking with brainstorm to print money with any high card, switch it to wee joker for final hand to win rounds, invisible joker showed up later, sold non eternals to end up with 2 Wee Jokers and Brainstorm, then you just cruise to the end you don't even need another joker, beat the final boss with those 3 with a single 1,046,520 point hand, $93 in the bank and 17 2s in the deck
