Northfield is a multi-faceted organization based out of microTech, Stanton. IRL the majority of our members of US/CAN based so most of our training and events are suited to those times. However with a growing EU presence we do our best to accommodate where possible .
We are a lawful organization that strives to provide economic prosperity for our members, while also creating a positive presence in the 'Verse through the various industries we find ourselves a part of. We may be smaller, but this also means there is always going to be a spot for you. As a business our main focuses are Security, Medical, Industry and now Exploration with our newest team, the Frontier Rangers.

Not sure why this was recommended to me, but I'm happy it was. Nice org trailer! I'm a non-toxic solo miner, focusing primarily on Quant in the Aaron Halo, but I cut my teeth on surface mining on Daymar. If your org ever contracts out to freelancers for resource needs, I might be available :)

That was at the same time cringey nostalgia combined with a lot of fun. In this monkeys opinion it feels like on one paw, we have the obviously cool broll with the ships and matching power up armor for when you all suit up to be the megatron of the verse with y’all’s multi role things and combined arms pew pew 💥 on the other paw, it was also so cheesy that I almost spit out the lunch I had gotten for myself of some termites I fished out of a mound, I was laughing that hard. But in a good way? Like when you see a group of out of tune singers having a good time, it’s good that they are having fun, don’t take things to to serious. Have fun with there having fun yah know? I hope I’m not being to much of a filthy monkey, still enjoyed the video tho. 😊 keep making more! o7

Gladius is probably your best choice at a dedicated fighter for getting into space combat - its responsive, but not overly responsive like some other ones

I have to ask cause I see this in almost every single org and it's the antithesis of all the testing i've done in the game and all the logic of the game. Why does every word give their security personnel who are the most likely to be in p v p combat medium armor? Why would you ever want to be fifty percent more likely to die?

The majority of our Security members are Pilots, and Pilots wear Light Armor. So, our guys arent 50% more likely to die, by wearing Medium instead of Light, they are 100% more likely to live. Not to mention Heavy Armor clips scopes, guns, mobiglas, and ship HUD's, just to name a few. So, Medium it is.

@@twidgettv8375 that makes sense. For me most of my fps pvp takes place at close range of a bunker or ship were heavy armor is just too worth it not to have, but I will agree for longer range combat or transitioning from pilot to ground makes more sense to wear light or medium.

@@Thaddios And these are also our more official/formal uniforms, so its not necessarily a requirement for people to wear them at all times and we encourage our security forces to wear armor that is appropriate to the environment and setting when engaging enemies

Honestly if the servers shut down today I will still feel like all the money and hours I've put into this have been worth it. It's been the single greatest gaming experience, community, and project I've been a part of. Just happy to be along for the ride.

From that distant promotional video with the Tiger Claw sailing majestically through the Kurosawa system... I never invested so much money, so much enthusiasm, so much desire to be part of the community. I can acknowledge that the door that has been opened will mark the future of Space Opera Simulators. But if the project is cancelled, it's going to be a tsunami of disappointment. A big, big hug to all of you who are excited about your vision of the game.
