I think this new division of WGI is a good idea. I just hope it goes towards Aimachi's concept. The performers were good. But this show might as well have been an indoor musical with some marching percussion.

probably impossible to gauge balance/ blend through a recording, but I agree that the winds were secondary to the voice/ electronics/ battery percussion. They did have an appreciably smaller horn line than aimachi.

A great performance and a good story line. I hope they keep going with this program, a new avenue of performance for the wood wind group.

I think that there was way too much singing, personally. I would've loved to hear much more of the actual winds. This seems like a great new division in WGI, though.

minus the french horn solo and flute trio, there was only 1 min and 5 seconds of music from wind players. was a nice percussion show though for marching winds.

This new division is creative and a fun idea just a bad one because it's gonna take away from many strong guard and percussion ensembles and also is going to take away from high school's focused concert bands a cross the country I'm sorry I like it but I don't think it's the best idea

Again, how irresponsible. Thank you for providing another way for programs to be pressured financially and yet again hurt concert ensembles. Carmel High school can do this but 90% of high schools can't. How irresponsible.

+frontensemble077 Uh, I went to Northglenn HS and I can guarantee you they do not get a lot of funding. It's a very run-of-the-mill public high school in suburban Denver, CO. This didn't cost that much.
