for removing Connectors without damaging you should heat the motherboard from the other side

Sooo...I Actually don't even replace the touch filter. Have success with just jumping the pads.

Have you tried "chip quick". I think in this instance it would have been a better choice to remove the connector than hot air gun. if you haven't used it and you use it because of my comment. And it helps you a lot. Then you owe me. I will trust that you'll be honest enough to let me know.
