This kit is rather a hit-or-miss. I built 2 of them with one that had excellent fit and the other that was terrible. Still waiting for the dream models new tooling kit to hit my local hobby stores

I did the Brazilian AF version. The wing roots were a nightmare to work with. I had issues with the intakes as well. You did a wonderful job with this kit.

As far as I know there is no 1:72 ah1 vesrions model kit available for the iriaf out of the box.And I already have an israli cobra in my collection so I dont think I will do another one anytime soon.

Good build!!as usually do and when you considering that some of the parts as specially of the wings and tail planes are very poor to be fitted correctly with that wide gaps but at the and of this build you was able again to turn this F-5E in an awesome model with that fantastic three tone camo.Big well done!!...I'm looking forward for your next build ;)

Loved it. Beautiful camo and as usual fantastic work. I have the same kit in my stash. Was thinking if I should go with the USAF Aggressor or the IRIAF one but now I feel the IRIAF one definitely beats the Aggressor in looks.

Thanks.I use a chineese 25euros worth of 0.2mm aibrush.Rhe most important thing is 50/50 thinned paint, the lowest possible preassure and a lot of practice.

Next time for Persian fighter jets as F-5,F-4,F-14 use IIAF instead IRIAF and lion&sun flag. That would be more popular.

Kad se radi iz ruke najbitnije je da je boja dobro razredjena odprilike 50/50 boja/razredjivac kao i jako nizak pritisak.Ja obicno farbam sa pritiskom od 0.2-0.5 bara.

I really like your videos; not a fan of the white pre-shading you do, I did it in a couple of models but I found it a waste of time and paint; you reach the same effect with post-shading and or oleos and or pastels. BTW, a small comment, its spelled "Gluing" not "Glueing".

I bought this kit earlier, because I thought it will be an upgrade to the quite old Italeri kit (released in 1982). This is based on the Italeri one, with some modifications. The main one is the detatching of the wings from the upper fuselage. Well, As you can tell, that was one of the poorest decisions. The other few problems: the surface quality is nothing else but scandal. Especially in the vertical fin, the stabilators and the pylons. But the drop tanks almost as bad in this aspect. And for the stabilators, those are thick as Serena Williams. And the "edges" on it... You can't even cut air with those. The cockpit decals are oversized and somewhat off from the embossed details. The overall fit is worse then the Italeri kit. Oh, and injectionpin marks all over. All in all, only one thing is an upgrade compared to its base Italeri kit: negative panel lines. In any other means the Italeri kit is far superior. At least this Hobby-Boss product is dirt cheap. But still overpriced. If you have doubts about the Italeri origins, then take a look at the instructions. It still shows the wing as an integral part of the upper fuselage. This kit is one of the worst model kits I ever encountered in my modelling carrer in the last 35 years.

You know why the fit of the wings is so poor? Because those are positioned totally wrong. They should be further back for some 3 mms! Just look at pictures of the real thing. The LERX starts far behind the lip of the intake, almost where the kit part joins to the fuselage part. If you position the wings back, the fit become much better, but still crap. I really don't know how they were able to fuck up this hilariously. Honestly there is not a single thing that I can mention good in this kit. Everything is bad on it. EVERYTHING! OK, maybe the Sidewinders are decent.

Excellent paint job, you only ruined the model by sanding the windshield, you reduced its size by placing putty and masking it with the paint, otherwise nothing to say, I liked it, greetings
