The F89 always struck me as an odd looking thing, even in a time of odd looking flying creations, with the skinny nose, spindly rear fuselage and overscale wings & tail….. You’ve really done it justice there Doc, really smart build. Looks the proper ticket 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻

I have a question for final varnish. When do you use matt, semigloss and gloss? And what about such metalic paint, which one to use to retain that metallic effect?

Matt on mat camos,semimat on camos that have a bit of a shine and for th3 metallic either semimat or glossm

I love the AK metallics. Easy to use and tough as nails. What did you use for the gloss coat before decaling?

Thank you and you are correct this is not a common model that people build.all the time.I had am early 90s release and my customer sent me spare revell decals printed around 10 years ago.

I have been debating on the color of the tail and wing tips. Are they red or orange or a combination of both? I like your result so I will work with the red. Great work!

@@doctormig2709 And what's the recipe if it's not a secret? :-) I used mix of water/acrilic paint and drop of dishwasher soap but it still doesn't flow as good and hard to wipe out.

The same as you did.I use drawing ink diluted with water and liquid soap for handwashing.The flow and removal is hard because you used paint.
