Frye's 'Anatomy' has been one of the most important books I have ever read, and has widened my understanding of literature more than any other! This video is also a testimony to a time before an unfathomable descent into barbarism and bloodshed. I'm afraid, that in this dark moment of our nation's history, few no longer have either the patience nor the largesse of spirit to engage with Frye's monumental work (not only the 'Anatomy' but also his work on Blake, Shakespeare, education...)

Poštovani g. Vunić, drago mi je da Vas je zainteresirao dokument o boravku g. Frye-a u Zagrebu i dodjeli počasnog doktorata zagrebačkog Sveučilišta. Kvaliteta snimke je dosta slaba prema današnjim video-standardima, no to ne umanjuje njezinu dokumentarnu vrijednost, posebice kad ju smjestimo u okvir zbivanja u Hrvatskoj u to vrijeme.
