Great video. I’m 55 and rode loops 1 & 2 today for the first time. Overall I enjoyed it very much. Many nice people who were more than willing to help a newbie. 👍

Glad you tried out NS East 1&2. A beautiful day and brought out the crowds. Parking lot at MADD was about as crowded as I've ever seen it.

Enjoyed the video - good camera work. Best part though - another 60+ trail rider - like me. You also gave me ideas for my next video at Arbor Hills (my home base trail). Once I build up my endurance- I’m hitting NS 1-4, looks fun.

I’m 63 and just started riding a MTB…I love it. I ride the Wallke X3 Pro e-bike. What are your thoughts about mt-e-bikes? Great channel!
@Over60MTB9 ай бұрын
I didn't start mtb riding til age 52, but same as you - I love it. Personally I prefer a non-ebike because I max out my exercise time, but another POV is: whatever gets you outside and on the trail is the right answer for you!

im a beginner to mountain bikes. i do gravel and road. i have a 2.1 wheelset for gravel bike, is that enough to do this? do you need dropper post? your vid shows pretty smooth pack and looks lots of fun...i'm looking to try this but wondering if you recommend for beginners. the hill climbing looks fun as well.
@Over60MTB Жыл бұрын
Yes you can ride your gravel bike on this trail, but you’ll quickly find most are riding full suspension mtn bikes. Safer and more comfy ride. As for beginner friendly - from a skill level perspective yes. But I personally would recommend Horseshoe, mostly green/blue and the dirt trail cuts across an asphalt rd (no cars) multiple times that allows jumping on/off the trail as you learn. I posted a vid on Horseshoe also. Good luck!

@@edge2991 Leaving Rockledge, the first 1/2 mile (ish) is 2 way, then you’ll hit the westbound side of Loops 4, 3, 2 & 1 (in that order). Loop 1 westbound ends at MADD.
