I recently put mine together and had similar experience with the throttle cable on the Kohler engine. The instructions seem to be for the Honda. I also agree with the janky routing of the high pressure line from the pump to the valve. I saw someone else that ran it through the loop with the return. I may give that a shot to tidy it up as long as there isn't any chafing. Good vid.

Nice video my friend…..I just assembled mine, but I built a bracket for the valve assembly to take the load off of the single hydraulic fitting. Hopefully North Star will remedy the issue.

My sales people at northern tool sucked balls. Bought the same splitter but y came with the Koehler motor. I paid for the Honda motor but they told me they don’t come with the Honda. They acted like I was a bother because I wanted what I paid for, the nerve of me huh.

Im putting mine together right now... I cant figure out how to mount the throttle cable return bracket. It hits the bottom of the wedge
