Thanks for sharing. Me and my wife have walked most of the Northumberland coastal path and done a coupe of wild camps on the way. It is a lovely coast and you found a great spot to camp.

Great place, hope fellow watchers are encouraged to be like you and overcome their wild camping anxiety. Keep up the good work. The pole was a great marker for where your tent was.

I'm coming up there soon from the south coast worthing 400 miles away to do some coast path walks Could you tell me where you parked up for this hike camp as I'd like to pitch up around there for my first camp . I'll be in my car and I have limited knowledge of the area so if you could give me an idea of near where you parked in a village or something it would be really useful Thank you very much

Hi Sarah, I parked in Amble and walked south along the beach. Another option is to park at Hauxley 55.320637, -1.550841and your pretty much right on the beach. Hope this helps.
@SarahOutdoors19574 ай бұрын
@@thebackingpackinggeordie thank you very much I've been looking and planning on getting up there for a trial camp and hikes and thought I'd get away from Berwick initially and maybe drive in after a couple of days , I live virtually on the beach in Worthing so I'd like to do some wild camping beach camps way up there thanks
