Nice very nice! What kind of mic do you use?
@benhikes Жыл бұрын
Thanks I just used the mic on the Samsung S22+ then adjusted levels and did a little EQ in the edit.

I truly enjoyed your editing and visual choices. It was great to see the mushrooms so abundantly as well as the more interesting flora and fauna. One of the best NPT videos I have watched. Thank you for your hard work editing and for sharing the trail with us.

Great video - amazing crisp and clear video throughout. Doing this NOBO journey the first week of September. These vides help motivate me. I'm going to try to do it in 6 days with 7 days being the absolute must. Training already! Thanks for sharing this.

Yes I was crusin.. Crushing some miles.. My last day I banged 26 miles to finish and my feet were wrecked and knee was killing me, but I was able to hobble out!! It was such an beautiful trail and great time.

@@dirtbagoutside 26 miles is impressive on that trail. Great video! Funny to see the same shots in reverse.

Thanks for your incredibly beautiful video!! How were the trail conditions? Ticks bad? Also …how were temps day -night temps? I’m thinking of attempting end of Sept into October. You resupplied how many times? where? Many thanks
@benhikes Жыл бұрын
Trail conditions were tough I would say with lots of blowdowns, some flooding, and mud. It's well-marked so easy to stay on the trail. Resupply at Bob Shuttles in Piseco and Adirondack Hotel in Long Lake. No ticks. Temps were probably 40s to 80s.

Last question….hopefully. Was that a B&B or something that y’all stayed at on day 3?
@benhikes7 ай бұрын
It's called the Irondequoit Inn. That wasn't our plan but it was really close to our resupply at NPT Piseco Bob's and he recommended it. Nice place but not cheap.

@@benhikes thanks again bud. Not planning on it either but just in case the weather gets real bad it’s nice to know I have options😁

What’s the temp like at night?

High 40s to low 30s in September.

Nice. Like I said I’m going in mid May, hoping the temps are comparable. Thanks bud.
