The T444E was the 7.3 Powerstroke that was built from the later part of 1994 until early 2003. Memories for me of when I rode in many International Blue Bird buses with that same engine.

1995 to 2003 Ford used that 7.3 motor, I wished they used that motor longer than they did.

On my school bus, we had 2 HVAC units. One in the front, one in the back and it also had the exterior light monitor in the front. Also my bus was wheelchair accessible but it was a great bus! I’ll never forget that experience. They don’t make buses like they used to.

Too bad I cant buy this bus. If I bought it I would replace the current Bolstrom Air ride driver seat with a modern National Seating air ride driver seat and even take out all passenger seats and convert it to a motorhome or a party bus.

I noticed at the Hershey Spring fling the Bostrom driver seat isnt really too high back compared to the CE White seat that the IC CE was available with which I did sit in on a 1980 Superior International. If I buy a IC CE I plan to replace the existing driver seat with a modern National seating driver seat.

This bus was made right during the AmTran name change. It has the AmTran body on a CE first gen chassis with "International" branding. The Tulsa plant had a bunch of leftover AmTran parts they used up to make these weird "half & half buses. My district bought a bunch for the 2000-2001 school year. For about a year, AmTran was called International Truck & Bus, then IC.

I dont know if Baltimore County disables the 8 ways but I know when they auction buses off they paint ALL decals in black even the school bus decals on the roofcaps. And Im guessing if another school bus company buys them they repaint everything back on with their name and numbering. And in MD by law churches have to repaint school buses in different color and Ive seen former Baltimore County school buses owned by different churches in the Baltimore area.

+xavier johnson Baltimore County now days covers ALL decals but keeps the yellow exterior and if it's being used for purposes other than school buses in Maryland the exterior color has to be different. But Pennsylvania still allows churches to use yellow but I don't think they can use the 8 ways for Sunday church shuttle service.

It's not. In 2001, International renamed their busses to "International" and in 2003, they renamed the company to IC. This bus also has International in the roof above the door and if it was an Amtran, it would have said Amtran on the roof.
