Well my comfort to the Husker fans out there is actually right at the start of the video, them talking about coach Frost who came in... And took over a program going 0-12... Recovery every step of the way until a few years later they were 13-0, on a hot streak, and now because of that recruited to Nebraska. It seems to me if you wanted the coach for that, you should have been going for the long haul for that anyway, and if it was exactly the same, maybe even that winless season. Doesn't make them feel better now though :)
@magicsam82476 жыл бұрын
The Doom From Latveria UCF had 1 bad season this decade. They won the fiesta bowl in 2014. Seems Frost was more the beneficiary of a wonderful program with pieces in place where he didn't have to do much. The fact that UCF won despite the media trying to sabotage them by talking about their coach leaving week after week and they are still winning, says more about the players and program in place than the coach. I think he may have bitten of more than he can chew with this Nebraska program. He will really have to rebuild this program, not come in and fix an already success team like he did in 1.5 years at UCF

Last Husker win was Oct. 28, 2017 vs Purdue by one pt. Apparently, it's proving really hard getting this Big Red train back on the tracks. I thought it was bad when we lost the State Fair to Grand Island. Now our state's fan base is at a loss for why the Huskers can't seem to find a win. Now the snow's here, covering up the Frost. Where's my shovel?
@knehansful6 жыл бұрын
Wait, what in the world does the State Fair have to do with it?
@kiddmarlowe15346 жыл бұрын
You'd have to be from Lincoln to understand this. State Fair left Lincoln for Grand Island in 2010, after having been in Lincoln since 1901. Thus, a huge loss.

If osbourne was still coach he'd make sure they got one...just like when he waited to retire ensuring he'd get to rob Michigan of their National Championship in '97...all because morons felt sentiment for him

I'd gladly give up our morons to feel sentimental for the Wolverines. Heck, I thought that's where most of them went. BTW...97 Huskers would've steamrolled Michigan. You can take comfort in knowing that. GBR!
@MarklovesJoan6 жыл бұрын
@SLAPCHOPshamwow It was ALL about the osbourne retirement...but nebraska made a habit of getting to play where they didn't belong...(2001) don't even win their division (My Buffaloes crushed them 62-36) and yet they get placed in the title game instead of Oregon (Who I think deserved that right) and of course are beaten by Miami. Oh and don't forget they own the record for most consecutive victories in their home openers...playing the likes of Texas State A&I and the Girl Scout Troop of Omaha troop 113

because there are more Nebraska fans in the stands northwestern basically did not have a football program until 1995, as a result the fanbase is not really a thing your average Northwestern-Michigan game draws more Michigan fans than Michigan home games, because it's more convenient to where they all live and work

Not belittling the big 12. If nebraska hadn't left they still would have rivalry games to sell to potential recruits. without that they cant recruit and this is the result. If nebraska was still in the big 12 they would still be bad but they could have at least gotten a few non conference wins or at the very least the could beat kansas.

It wasn't about being easier. It was about Texas. You have the power of google at your fingertips please use it. This is his first year I will give him all the slack in the world after giving Riley how many years? turnover margin and penalties are killing them. How do you lose games when you get close to 600 yards of total offense and out gain your opponent in every game except the Michigan game? They should have lost that game I was there.

Nebraska has Northwestern pinned at their own 1 yard line. Next play, C. Davis goes after NW qb AS HE SHOULD. Guess what happens? Lo-and-behold, the referees intentionally throw a "roughing the passer" flag, which gives NW an undeserved, unmerited 1st down. Such bullshit. I'm cool with losing IF the referees call a fair, impartial game. Yet, these officials do not deserve to wear the zebra striped uniform, period. Absolute classless refereeing. Complete lack of integrity. There is no honor in cheating the system. Except, obviously, in the NCAA. -_-
@chrisowen32646 жыл бұрын
😢😢😢😢😢😢 don’t worry about the terrible play calling and turnovers and the roughing call whether you like it or not is the right call don’t hit the qb in the head . They make to many mistakes to win games right now bottom line you can keep blaming everyone else right now for the loses if you want but it’s a poorly coached undisciplined team right now
@chrismarch66446 жыл бұрын
like it or not there should have been 2 flags for intentional grounding.
@chrisowen32646 жыл бұрын
Nebraska fans are in an unusual spot for them and they don’t know how to handle it so they blame everyone else for their problems. They’re not the first program to have a string of bad hires and poor recruiting this may all be a 20 year blip in the radar and frost may turn it around but this team isn’t 0-6 because of the refs they’re 0-6 because they make mistakes and are poorly coached right now. It’s not like there’s no talent on this team their skill positions are talented but they have no defense and commit dumb errors and on Saturday frost was atrocious with his play calling at the end
