14 rods???? Wow I am not skilled enough to not be tangled the entire day. ha. Cool video. Reminds me of being a kid going to visit my grandma who lived in Sandpoint on the lake.

Lake Pend Oreille holds the world record natural(non-triploid) rainbow trout. Those 43 and 48lbers out of BC are genetically engineered fish.

Lake Tahoe is about the same as LPO

Catch and release is ok but eating a fish is even better. Take what you need and throw the rest back.

That guy is clueless about how deep the lake is , as it is not even close to the deepest lake in the USA. Crater lake is the deepest at just under 2000 feet deep, Lake Tahoe at 1,645-foot-deep is second, Lake Chelan is 3rd at 1,486 feet. He is about as good at geography is he is at fishing. lol

Sorry guys.........you have a great channel but you really need to do some research on handling those beutiful rainbows if you intent to release them. Consult a fisheries biologist or someone who knows trout physiology. Not a good example for others. I know you must care about the resource so a little homework will ensure the survival of the fish you bring on board. Tight lines!
