Cute Cat Was Scared Of Her Portrait! Funny Reaction of My Dogs And Cats To Their Photos

We showed each of our huskies and cats their own portraits. Do dogs and cats recognize themselves in portraits? The reaction of each pet was so different! Of course the dogs were looking for a treat. The cats were much more careful. But the cat Belka showed the most amazing and unexpected reaction.

Things were in opposite to what I would expect. The dogs were totally uninterested whilst the cats showed all the caution and interest. Edit: Belka is exceptionally magnificent, though I suspect there is a farouche side within.

Loved this one, Belka's reaction was priceless, but it was so nice how you showed her not to be afraid. Monty was straight on the food, and Bat his usual indifferent self. I love Olivia's growing confidence and how she just wants to play and have fun all the time, it is so sweet to watch her throw herself into any situation.

The cut outs were so cute. Frame them or do similar and make pet pillows. Adorable 😍🥰 Dogs seemed to rely on nose vs sight. All the dogs , especially Monte, were saying " I smell treat. Sad can we get more treats." Cats relied more on sight and hearing. Sonya was the most confident . Maybe her being previous stray or being the Cat monarch. Belka seemed most worried. Maybe with her medical condition it was harder to piece together. Glad you reassured Belka. ❤ To all. So sweet how you do fun things for your pets and share with us. Kippers for all

Interesting to see the different reactions with the cats, however the huskies are more interested in their bellies. Love the artwork by the way, you certainly love your pets and l must say how lovely it is to see pet owners loving cats and dogs equally. Wish we had more freedom here in Australia to have pets, no freedom to let them be animals outside of the home.

Belce pokazaliście obrazek proporcjonalnie o wiele większy niż innym kotom i dlatego nie miała szans. Trzeba to jej chyba jakoś zrekompensować przy obiedzie, bo nie było to zbyt uczciwe. 😆💓💓💓 Widać, że u kotów wzrok jest zmysłem bardziej dominującym niż u psów. Pozdrawiam.

В случае с Белкой размер портрета-силуэта превосходил саму кошечку по размерам (в отличие от других питомцев, их портреты-силуэты были заметно меньшего размера, чем они сами). Может, поэтому Белка была настолько осторожна❤, и взгляд у ее портрета смотрел в сторону, а не глаза в глаза, это тоже для них имеет значение😉

This reminds me the day my mother brought home to stuffed sheep (made with real sheep wool) home. All the animals, except 1, didn't care about them (beyond mere interest). The exception was the cat Tinkerbell, she took one look at the sheep and did her best to run away from them. I had to pick her up, which was painful. I attempted to carry her to the living room where they were, which was even more painful as she tried to get out of my arms. So, I asked my mother to pick one of them up. As my mother held the cat up by one hoof, and I showed Tinkerbell that it's being held like that... she finally realized it wasn't a dog there to chase her... but... something that isn't alive. Thankfully, her claw marks didn't scar that much.

I wonder how the cats - especially Belka - would have reacted if you didn't play the meowing-sound? 🤔 A bit unfair to them, I think; as you didn't play barking for the dogs... 😉 As always very exciting to watch the reactions! Our first cat (Katt) when he was an older kitten he saw himself in a mirror on the ground…he went back and forth then he looked behind the mirror to find the other Kitty…he also would chase the other cat a few years later and would leap on the back of our rocking recliner..push it down then ride the rocking

2 things coming together, I guess. Cats having a much better vision than dogs, and cats being individual hunters and as such very much aware that an injury could end their life due to starvation. Hence the extreme caution.

Wonder if dogs just dont think of part of dog (head only) as being a dog? And also the addition of a hello bark snd might have made them more attentive. Thanks for going slow with the cats and not adding to their worry as they approached.
