Really enjoyed this one mate full of history. I think its cool how there was a shooting range there aswell. I love going on walks like this every now and again to hear the wildlife. Nature is a beautiful thing. Keep it up great work

Nice video. The Rifle Range is present on the 1924 but not on the 1903 0S Map. The earliest mention I can find is in April 1910 when it is reported that the outdoor range at Norton was opened with fair attendance. The mist hung around the targets making it hard to distinguish the bull. All the best, Peter.

I went Geocaching over there years ago. Did not realise it was an old sand and gravel quarry. Nice video. All the best, Webby 👍
